A Jewish Blessing for a Happy New Year. It is Rosh Hashanah. New Year for our Jewish brothers and my son in law Jeremy Parzen. Check out this link for a better explanation of Judaism’s New Year celebration.

So to my son in law Jeremy and my two semi-semite granddaughters as well as my daughter Tracie I want to wish a Happy New Year. What a blessing it is to be able to wish them Happy New Year two times each year. It is also a blessing to have all of them in our lives. Thanks to Jeremy and Tracie for those beautiful granddaughters, they are a blessing to us all year every year no matter when the new year starts.

Have a blessed day and New Year,

Pastor Randy

L’Shanah Tovah

Shanah Tovah

Rosh HaShanah, the Jewish New Year, begins today and ends Tuesday at sundown and if you’re wondering how to wish fellow Jews and Jewish friends a “Happy New Year” here’s the answer: “L’Shanah Tovah.” L’Shanah Tovah literally means “For a Good Year.” (The image above shows “L’Shanah Tovah” in Hebrew.)

This post is for my son in law, Dr. Jeremy Parzen, Tracie and Georgia Ann with a shout out to those California Parzen’s, Jeremy’s Mom, Brothers and their families.  Just wanting to wish him and all of his family Happy New Year as this is the beginning of the Jewish New Year.  What a way to finish the old year.  A two week trip to Italy with wife and daughter, great experiences and great pictures to share with us all ended the old year.  And a safe arrival home in good ole Austin Texas to start the New Year.  Glad y’all had a safe trip and glad y’all are home. God truly does bless us in so many ways.

May God’s Blessings and Peace be with us all forever,

Randy
